If a proxy is configured for access to IP addresses outside a customer estate then the appliance must be configured to make use of this proxy.
Identify the appliance IP address
The appliance IP address is listed as part of the configuration with the CAM SAAS UI.
Modify Proxy Configuration from the Appliance
Using the appliance-IP <appliance-ip>, open a browser and browse to the appliance UI using the URL https://<appliance-ip>/login providing the username admin and password.
- Select the Settings > Configure Proxy.
- Provide the details for the proxy configuration for example:
- Hostname/IP: 10.46.4.5 (ip address) or proxy.cloudsphere.com (hostname)
- Type: either http or https
- Username: test\test
- Password: password
- Finally enable the proxytick box
- Press Submit.
The proxy has now been configured.
