The CloudSphere Virtual Appliance is a hardened Linux Virtual Machine. Once deployed, scans are configured via the CloudSphere Management Console.
CloudSphere runs these scans using the provided user account details. The virtual appliances will gather inventory and performance data using remote protocols such as WMI for Windows and SSH for Unix-based servers (see Agentless Scanning for more details ).
