In the normal scan operation, an IP address (i.e. unreachable) that does not respond to scan operations, does not generate a Scan Status message. Only IP addresses that respond to appliance queries are included in the scan status log operations.
If a user preference is to list all IP addresses with a scan status, then the scan job must be configured to specifically log these unreachable devices.
Currently supported OS: *Nix and Windows
Navigate to the Scan Job you wish to configure the Generate Scan Status for No Answer IP.
Open the contextual menu via the ellipsis button and select “Configure Job“.
Select the tab “Scan Details“.
From the Enablings drop-down options, select “LogUnreachableDev“.
Press the “Update” to persist the new Scan Job configuration.
Run the updated Scan Job as normal to leverage the new changes.
A Scan Status will be reported for each IP attempted in the scope of the modified Scan Job.
